In 2011, HTP has ACT Classes planned for Mountain Brook, John Carroll, Hoover, and Spain Park High Schools. Also, we will continue to offer SAT classes when there is a demand. The PSAT is given in October so we will have a class to help you prepare. We are now offering a special Boot Camp class for those who want to do an entire prep class in one week or less. Many students prefer this over the weekly sessions. And for those that only need a short refresher session, we now offer a five hour Acceleration Class the weekend before the test.

Congrats to Tucker Osborne of Mountain Brook High School for scoring a perfect 36 on the English section of the ACT. Tucker won a $100 scholarship from HTP.

Beginning with the 4/4/09 ACT Exam, HTP now offers ACT prep classes at Spain Park High School. This class gives students of north Shelby County a class option in their area. Congratulations to Chris Wilhelm, Jessica Bolus, Andrew Molony, and John Satriano. By making a perfect 36 on a section of the ACT exam, these students won $100 scholarships from HTP. We are so proud of your accomplishments! Congrats to Kelsey Creel of Hoover High School for scoring a perfect 36 on the Reading portion of the ACT. Kelsey won a $100 scholarship from HTP.

Congratulations to Elizabeth Berg and Barri Elizabeth Stephenson of Hoover High School and Leigh Allison of Oak Mountain High on winning $100 scholarships from HTP. These three students made perfect scores on at least one section of their recent ACT exams. We are so proud of your accomplishments! Ms. Henson held a special class for MAC Scholars at Hoover High School. Congratulations to those students and the efforts they made to improve their scores! The MAC Scholars are pictured on the upper left of this page. HTP is proud to announce that prep classes will be available at John Carrol High School beginning in January 2009.
