We are pleased to share some of the letters and notes received from proud parents and happy students of Henson Test Prep.  We hope you will let us give you a reason to write a "success story" too!  She came up from a 20 to a 23 which was great to see. She brought her science up from a 19 to a 26!! Other scores came up by 3 except reading which dropped a point. We give your class high marks and will see you again with child number 2 in a few years! ----------------------------------------------------------- We were thrilled with the 6 point increases in both Reading and Science. We won't have the writing score for a couple of weeks, but I am optimistic that we will see an increase in that score as well.  To my knowledge, she did not do any preparation outside of your course, so I attribute the increase to the instruction and practice she received through the course. I just wanted to let you know her results and thank you for offering such an effective program! --------------------------------------------------------- Hello Amy and HTP staff,  We are so excited to share with y'all that erin raised her act score from 22 to 27 ! She... and we.... jumped for joy!!! One of her resolutions to to bring it up even further (Her goal is 30!) and we want to support her in anyway we can. Thanks so much for your thoughts and for the wonderful class that hashelped her improve her score!. --------------------------------------------------------- I just wanted to let you know that Dalton received a 32 on his ACT.  We are so excited!!! He made a 26 last year as a sophomore.  He gained 6 points. Thank you so much for your class.  He thought it was beneficial. ----------------------------------------------------------- WOW!  We received Will's ACT scores today and we are THRILLED!  Will took the ACT in April and took your ACT Acceleration class at Spain Park the Saturday before the test.  Other than his normal schoolwork this was Will's only test prep.  He scored 32 overall and earned a 36 on both the Reading and the Science sections, 33 in English, and 24 in Math.  Will is finishing up the 9th grade at Spain Park and these scores are drastic improvements from the first time he took the ACT through the Duke TIP program in February of 7th grade.  Of course, we must give Will and his teachers credit but needless to say the ACT Acceleration class was well worth the investment of Will's time and our money.  We plan for him to take the ACT again either next April or June and will definitely register him for another test prep class. ------------------------------------------------------------ Henson Test Prep helped me increase my overall score by 3 points (30 to a 33). The course was particularly helpful in that there was designated class time prepare for the ACT, whereas before I was trying to cram it around my school work. The instructors were especially helpful; they provided new information, valuable advice, as well as little tips here and there to improve my time and my score. I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to take this class. -------------------------------------------------------------- Just a quick note to say thanks for helping my son in his preparation for the ACT exam.  When he got his score back today and saw the 32 overall with a perfect 36 in Reading, he was pretty excited to say the least.  It was obvious to me that your course really motivated him to focus and pushed him to pick up those 3 extra points on his 2nd attempt.  I think there are a lot of people who don't realize that even good students can greatly benefit from a program that helps them understand more about the test, and find ways to maximize their efforts and subsequently their results.  Compared to the scholarship offers he will now receive, the cost of your program is an incredible bargain.  Thanks again and keep up the good work helping kids improve their academic future.    ----------------------------------------------------------------- I just wanted to thank you for all your help with my ACT.  I was probably the only one in the class that was not in it just to get a scholarship. I struggle with that test and it is one of my least favorite things to do. Give me a chance to make all A's, I'm on it. Give me a chance to make a 30 on the ACT, slim chance. But even though score wise my score isn't HUGE, I brought my score up to a 22 from a 19 and could not be happier. So thank you! ------------------------------------------------------------------- My son made a 22 overall. His reading score was a 25 and science was a 24. (Big jumps) he had a 19 in language and a 21 in math.  He was happy and he may take again to see if he can bring up.  You are a blessing and I can’t thank you enough. Thanks so much.  -------------------------------------------------------------------- It's a triple crown 30 for me!  I did get my 36 in English and a 30 in Math! My Reading went down to a 31, and I DO have a mental block in Science because I got a 24 again! So my composite was a 30.25 (which is my highest score now)! Thank you for EVERYTHING; it's a wonderful program! And some good news: all my friends who took your course went up 3 points on average! I'll be sending you more business! My mom also extends her gratitude! Do you think I should try one more time? Ha-Ha! --------------------------------------------------------------------- I just wanted to let you know that even though my son only attended 2 days out of the 5 of the prep class, he raised his ACT score 4 points to a 24.  He may take the ACT again and if he does we will send him to the refresher course.   ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I just got a letter from the National Merit Scholarship people that I had a high enough score on the PSAT to be in the running for the semifinalist and the finalist categories (so I'm already a 'commended student'). She was very pleased and her Mom and I were ecstatic. My reading improved from a 27 to a 31! I would like to thank you SO much for helping me with my ACT tests! I have enjoyed coming to your class for I knew I would learn something new every day! You've told me tips I have yet to find on various Internet sites or even ACT study guides! You were a blessing to me and my friends! He was excited and he has been accepted into the University of Alabama.  Now we are in search of scholarship money.  Thanks for all your help. -------------------------------------------------------------------- My daughter just finished your prep class and really enjoyed and benefited from it.  My daughter has decided to attend Troy.   She is one of your successes, her score came up 3 points, she went from 20 to23.  Troy begins Leadership Scholarships at a 22, so she qualified.  Not sure how much yet, but we will know next week.  As good as the money will be, this type of scholarship requires her to be in a leadership position on campus. We all know that part of enjoying anything is being involved, so knowing she will have to jump in makes us feel better about her transition to college.  So thanks for the help.   ------------------------------------------------------------------- We wanted to tell you how thrilled we are....she made a 31 on her Feb. I just wanted to let you know how much you helped me!  My first scores before your help were:  26-English, 27-Math, 24-Reading, 24-Science, 25-Composite.  But after your help, especially with English they came up to: 33-English, 27-Math, 26-Reading, 27-Science, 28-Composite.  It was clearly my English score that brought my composite upso much!
